This is the first post to my new blog on environmental security. The blog is an extension of the Waternet-website on the geopolitics of water scarcity in the Middle East (www.waternet.be), but it has a wider scope: not only 'water' but every aspect of 'environment related to human society', and not limited to a sepcific region. Like climate change, for instance, or specific aspects like the melting of the Arctic ice.
On this blog, I will collect some interesting news, remarkable events or some personal comments and observations.
